Lochaven Landscapes is a Ringwood based landscape design, construction and garden care business, led by Stuart Yates. For more than thirty years we have been building gardens across Melbourne's eastern suburbs, from courtyards in Balwyn to full backyards, pool surrounds and commercial grounds in Warrandyte, Donvale, Park Orchards and beyond.
What began as a small local operation has become a trusted name for families building their first home, then their second, and often the homes of their grown up children. That kind of repeat trust is not something you can market your way into. It is earned slowly, one honest job at a time.
What we do
We are a full service landscape team. That means one group of people handles the entire project, from the first walk of your site through to the garden care programs that keep it looking the way it did on handover day.

How we work
Every project starts with a free on site visit. We walk the space with you, listen to how you actually live, and agree an honest hourly rate before anything is booked. No padded fixed quotes designed to cover the unknown. You pay for the hours actually worked.
It is a quieter, more considered way to build a landscape, and it is the reason our diary is filled largely by word of mouth. Neighbours calling neighbours. Clients calling us back for the next home.
